When I visited MIT in 2010, I gave a guest lecture to a game design class on board games. This group of students had been making their own board games as part of the class, but didn't have a lot of board game experience (in general).
The idea of this talk is to talk about some of the big milestones in board game publishing, and then present some of my views on what it has been like to be an author in the board game industry.
