    --Oct2010-- I'd be happy to play again: it was a fun (if odd!) experience. The new version seems to be quite sensible and deterministic: we had no serious questions about the proceedings. Yet despite the excellent atmosphere, I don't think it's one I'd buy.

    I can't wait to get the new version. Onto the Wish List it goes! Comments on old version:ok, I really like Betrayal at House on the Hill for theme. Unfortunately this perfectly good game suffers from poor documentation and support. If you are flexible, it is quite a bit of fun to play.

    A pseudo-cooperative exploration game, where the players begin by working together to investigate a haunted house. Eventually, the evil of the house overcomes one of the adventurers and they turn into a traitor, trying then to kill everybody else. What I think is most unique and creative about the game is that you don't know how to win (or lose) the game until after the

    Simply awesome. Exactly what I wanted out of the game, and even more. Exciting game play, interesting haunts, and a quick play time makes this game nearly flawless. If the 2nd edition components didn't blow balls, this would probably have received a 10.
