Game Summary
From the depths of space an ancient vessel drifts slowly towards the Imperium of Mankind - a space hulk. Within its confines, untold thousands of Genestealers slowly emerge from hibernation. The Space Marines must enter the cramped corridors and tomb-like chambers of the ancient ship to defeat this alien menace.

Space Hulk is a board game for two players, recreating the battles fought between the Space Marines and Genestealers. One player commands the Space Marines as they carry out deadly missions in the ancient Space Hulk, and the other commands the horde of Genestealers opposing them. Space Hulk's fast-paced rules simulate the tense atmosphere of a mission deep inside the cramped confines of a derelict space hulk, where split-second decisions are needed for victory.

Soooooo much fun! The theme is absolutely wonderful, the pieces are completely gorgeous, and the gameplay is beautifully smooth. Only reason this isn't a 10 is my uncertainty that its replay value will hold after having gone through a wide spectrum of missions enough times. Fan made missions may render that moot, but I'm taking the wait and see approach to that for now. Rated an 8 down from 9 after the Games Workshop idiocy. I don't think it will go down, as the ga...

I can't get enough of this game - it's insanely addicting. It's obvious why this game has stood the test of time - it's rich, full of theme and tension, has deceptively simple rules but rewards smart play and harshly punishes any mistakes. And you can play it in an hour and set it back up for more. Worth every penny of the admittedly hefty price tag.

The components in this edition are top notch. I honestly don't like the poses for the figures, so I am using Termies that I bought from the Warhammer 40K line, and the Nids from the 1st edition. Everything else is ridiculously produced, and that is just plain awesome, for the most awesome game ever.
