In this second expansion, the focus is on 23 Roman battles from 225 BC to 51AD, involving the Barbarian armies of Gaul, early Germans, slave uprisings against Rome (including the famed Spartacus), plus some of Caesar’s Gallic battles and his invasions of Britain. You do need the Commands & Colors: Ancients core game in order to play this expansion.

- 1 Rule and Scenario Book containing 23 battle scenarios
- 337 Blocks: Red Roman units, Green Barbarian units and Black Victory Banners, comprising:
- 228 small blocks (120 green and 108 red) for foot units
- 18 small black blocks - 16 Victory Banners and 2 Special Unit blocks
- 54 medium blocks (24 green and 30 red) for cavalry units
- 4 large red blocks for elephant units
- 33 rectangular blocks (28 green and 5 red) for leaders and chariot units
