Do Private Groups create Private Events?
It's not entirely intuitive (for me at least) whether an Event added to an "Invite Only" Group is Private (i.e. doesn't appear anywhere else on the site. If I'm understanding correctly, it appears that it will only appear on the "Group Calendar" for anyone belonging to that Group which, would essentially make it private. However, it also generates a post in the "Special Use" forum under "Conventions and Meetings" rendering it no longer private.
Is this the expected behavior? If so, is the intention for Groups to not be able to have "private events"? Or am I missing something?

That should be how it works, yeah. It should only show up to members of the Social Group you post it in.

I just did a quick test ... I logged out and I can still see the event name and some details about it, but I can't RSVP to it... so I'm guessing it still needs some work to make it a bit more private. I'd think only people who belong to that group should see it at all. I'll add it to the Project Manager Bug list.

Do you have any events for your private group set up? I don't actually see any on the calendar, but I'm not sure if you have any or not heh.
Looking at the database, it appears that there is one, but I don't actually see it. Unless it's outside the next 15 days, is why I'm asking.

Alright, after a little bit of testing, I was able to confirm that it shows up in the "Conventions & Meetups" forum, but does not show up on the calendar except for people who are in the group (or are admins).
I'll see if I can't fix it so they don't show up in the forum either. (Unless we decide to do away with that forum, and just have the calendar, but I don't think that's what we want to do).

I think this should be behaving as expected now?
Let me know if it's not.
Note: I did notice that the "hidden" threads are still counted, but I can't find a way around this really - perhaps I can find some SQL that will let me figure this out.
