Pooka for Android, Pooka for Settlers module (and demo) released in Android Marketpla

The Pooka core app, along with the first beta release of the Pooka for Settlers module (and demo) have been released in the Android Marketplace.

The core Pooka app serves as a command center for the Pooka modules and allows you to browse through existing games, launch new games, manage a list of friends you regularly game with, and browse for Pooka modules in the marketplace.

The Pooka for Settlers module will be released in stages, and the first beta release includes a turn-based scoresheet. I have also created a demo of the Pooka for Settlers module so that you can play with the app before buying it.

In addition to finalizing the second beta release of the Pooka for Settlers module I have several other modules already in development. But, I would be open to suggestions as to what the next module should be. I have also been considering adding a poll to the GamePooka.com (http://www.gamepooka.com) website.

At the current time Pooka is only available for Android, but I have written it to be portable and would consider porting it to iOS or Linux (Gtk+) if there is sufficient demand.

This is interesting - seeing more and more of these. Starting to wonder if soon I won't feel like I NEED a smart phone!
